June 8, 2006

I had new anglers Wayne, Donna, Dewayne and Jennifer. This was an outstanding fishing crew. They were all catch and release!

Here is Dewayne fighting a ladyfish as his father wtches on.

Dewayne and Jennifer posing with his and her ladyfish.

Donna with her ladyfish.

Jennifer bags the big fish of the day with this really nice spanish.

Later in the day we switched to topwater fishing over the grassbeds and found a few specks that missed breakfast. Wayne with his first fish of the day.

Jennifer with another big fish.

Donna got her first speck as well.

I had new anglers Charlie who set this trip up and his two friends Gene and Norman. A great crew on my boat.

Gene started the action with a nice spanish.

Norman came back with his own spanish.

We switched gears and went to the grassbeds and found a few nice specks. Here is Charlie with his first speck.

Gene holding a really nice speck.

I had some new anglers on board today. Manuel Reyes his father and brother Ugo.

The weather was beautiful. I cannot say much for the fishing. We had several strikes early in the morning with not much on success.

Here is Ugo and Manuel working a couple of specks on top.

Ugo scored with the only keeper of the day.

Manuel’s father below never stopped fishing the whole morning. He ended up catching one ladyfish.

I fished with my good friends David and David Jr.

We started out with floating 7m mirrolures. Here is David Jr. with a nice 21″ speck.

After the topwater bite slowed down we changed over to some flounder fishing. Here is David with a nice flounder caught on a 1/4 oz jig

Now here is David Jr with what I would say is a world class Sea Robin!

Below was supper for today.
