June 1st 2006 it was hurricane Parke Jr.

June 9, 2006

The first day of hurricane season blew in a tiny storm named Parke jr. He had put a whoppin on his dad during our sheephead run and planned to do it again today.

We started out the day watching the sunrise.

Dad got into the action first with this nice speck.

Parke quickly boated a speck of his own.

Parke set the hook on a big fish and was testing all his angling skills.

After winning the battle Parke pulls in this stud bluerunner.

Before we can get dad into the water with his lure Parke has this ladyfish hooked up.

Dad gets back into the action with his first bluefish of the day.

Dad catches his first ever cobia!

Well it was not a hurricane that we needed to evacuate the coast for. It was a hurricane named Parke that caught alot fish today!

May 29th 2006 a slow day but one really nice speck

Sam, Sam Sr and Brady were my anglers for the day. It was a beautiful day with the fishing very slow. As you can see in the first pick alot of casting with only a few small specks.

Sam did catch this really nice speck.

These are the days when we call it fishing!

May 28th 2006 father and son day

Curtis fished with me earlier in the year and brought back is son Alec, brother Johnny and Johnny’s son Jaice.

Curtis and Johnny are big time topwater fishermen and they proved that very early in the day with a couple of specks.

Here is Johnny and Jaice fighting a stud ladyfish.

Jaice is all smiles after boating his fish.

Johnny caught this huge remora on a speck rig. Looks like a cobia.

We decide to go back and try the specks again over the grass. We caught several but none worth a photo.

We had a super day catching specks, ladyfish, bluefish, bluerunners and a remora.

May 27th 2006 fishin’ with some good ole’ friends

My anglers today were my good friends Casey, Vickie and Will. Today our mission was to catch plenty of spanish.

We started out catching bluerunners by the hundreds it seemed like. Then we worked our way down the beach and found ladyfish.

We finnally found the spanish trolling and ended up with 11 real nice fish.

Will holding one of his fine catches for the day.

Vickie bags the biggest fish and bragging rights!
