October 1st 2006 an ol’ fashion line stretchin drag screaming rob bending fishing trip with Steven and Dillan

October 1, 2006

We left the dock at 0545 hours. The wind was light from the North. The boys were ready for some awesome fishing.

We had not gotten the lines out when Steven is all bowed up with a huge ladyfish. Heck you just can see as the sun has not come over the horizan.

Steven with a nice 3lb ladyfish.

On our next pass Dillan his bowed up.

Twenty Five yards later and Dillan with a nice ladyfish too!

Then the sun rises.

Ladyfish after ladyfish we started to find a few spanish, bluefish and bluerunners. Here is Steven with a frying pan size spanish!

Well i do not believe the boys ever got tired of pulling these fish but dad and I were very tired and decided to try our luck on the grassbeds.

The fish have moved for the most part but Steven was able to land this nice speck to end the day.

It was a line pulling drag screaming rod bending fishing adventure with a couple of dolphins to boot!

Until our next fishing adventure….tight lines!

September 26th 2006 Joe G and the boys!

Joe and I postponed the day of fishing by one day due to small craft advisory. So we decided the next day we would go reguardless of the wind! As we loaded onto the boat we were given a beautiful sunrise.

Bob and Ted looking like professional fishermen.

The wind blew most of the morning and we caught very few fish. Joe wanted Bob on a big fish so we stayed an hour longer. The wind shifted and actually layed down. We pulled out the topwater plugs and began casting. It did not take long and Bob’s drag was screaming! A nice 4 pound spanish!

A few casts later and he had this nice speck in the boat.

That would end the days fishing on a positive note.

Until our next fishing adventures….tight lines!

God Bless
