October 7th 2006 Saturday afternoon dove shoot
I took a break from fishing to enjoy what I love most and that is a good old fashion dove shoot. The hunting party of 20 met at the barn around 2 pm. We placed our blinds out around 230 pm. The birds strted flying in around 330pm.
I estimated about 500 plus birds. After 45 minutes of shooting I had my 12 birds and expended 22 shotgun shells.
Now my good friend Adam Baker at an old age of 11 bagged his first wing shoot of his young hunting career. He ended the day with two!
