March 8th trolling for reds and groupers

March 8, 2007

Went fishing with Jeff and his dad Bob. Our mission was to learn how to catch redfish and grouper trolling. We did alot of learning. Did not catch a fish. Just before leaving we had something hit in 40 foot of water but got hung in structure. Was it a grouper? We will never know!

We did hit the beach about 1000 hours a saw several schools of redfish but no takers.

Until our next fishing adventure…tight lines!

March 7th 2007 Red spot tail cobia fishing with the double Dans

What a beautiful day for looking for those red spot tail cobia. We found them! We saw several schools with 50 plus fish. Most schools were 3 to 12 fish.

Dan is all bowed up with his first fish!

This is Dan’s first keeper redfish ever! 26.5 inches long and smile from ear to ear!

Now here is a double Dan all bowed up again.

Another smile ear to ear!

Sight fishing at its best!

Until our next fishing adventure…tight lines!

God Bless
