March 9th 2007 capt wes gets in on the action
Wow! Four days of beautiful weather. Will it ever end? Not today. Jay and myself headed back to the clear emerald waters of Ft Pickens. We had pomp jigs tied on and was looking for any movement on the beach.
It did not take long to see a school of 30 fish. Capt Wes made a beautiful cast 15 feet in front. Waited a few seconds until fish got close and then started bumping the bottom. Wham Bam! I am on!!!!
A few minutes later a nice 12lb redfish.
We saw 15 schools of fish but not many takers. Here is one more that got to close to Capt Wes’ bait!
